Sommelier's Note
"Domaine Dujac beautifully reflects the timeless elegance and purity of great red Burgundy. The wine opens with expressive layers of red berry fruit intertwined with darker forest fruits and subtle earthy woodland characteristics, creating both depth and finesse. Ageing for 14 to 18 months in French oak barrels, with approximately 50% new oak, brings refined notes of cedar, sweet spice, toasted vanilla, and delicate smoky undertones, while enhancing the wine’s remarkably silky texture. Despite its concentration and quiet power, the palate remains graceful and precise, finishing long, elegant, and beautifully balanced between intensity and gentleness."
